This place would benefit from more pro-active management. The venue looks like it could do with a good overall. The classroom layouts are poor, and I found the tables in the room I used were dirty and sticky.

DO NOT BOOK THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I had my nikkah here recently. My husband paid for outside catering with drinks, waiters for the tables and background sound to be played during the event. After all my guests were at their tables ready to eat, the women in the kitchen tell us that drinks were not included? But they were paid for? My husband on his Nikkah day had to leave, go to the nearest Asda and buy further drinks himself. No waiters at all but payment was made for them? The women in the kitchen being extremely rude and disrespectful, and the saddest part, THE FOOD RAN OUT! AT AN EVENT? A NIKKAH? Absolute joke. It was made by their own staff when we paid for OUTSIDE CATERING! They call themselves Muslims. Return my husband’s money or I will take this to a very big platform. No sound/music was played, we even asked if we can plug our phone in and the people there still refused! When asked for more naan, I, the bride, was told to go and get some from the shop behind? Embarrassing. My poor husband who went to lengths to organise this special day was just robbed and scammed. Adab centre doesn’t have any adab at all.

I came here for a charity event yesterday for ladies only. My first time visiting the centre. The venue was transformed to seat accommodate 200 ppl. There was a space to pray and parking. The event organisers did an excellent job. Toilets also clean which is important. I also was provided with a place to pray.

I paid £400 for 6 hours, 75 chair and cleaning.

After 4 hours, the staff started taking off the table clothes and chairs. This was really embarrassing for my guests, because they made it look like we paid for only 4 hours.

The staff went ahead to ask us to clean up our tables and take the rubbish along with us, even though they charged us extra £50 for cleaning.

I paid an additional £150 as deposit as requested. 3 weeks later, nobody contacted me for me refund. I called them, and they said, the tape used in sticking the balloons damaged their drape and Tripod stand, so they won’t be refunding my £150.

I’ve heard of event halls doing this, but i didn’t expect this from a community centre.

Unique situation and community role ... serves local communities in East Bury as well as wider communities due to its position by Bury Market and transport hub.
