Langdale care homes use ourselves for a significant amount of training, all of the homes are very well organised and staff attend the training promptly. Staff throughout the training sessions are engaged and are always keen to get involved.
When visiting each of the homes myself and my training team always feel welcomed by the staff and made to feel comfortable throughout the care settings, staff cannot do enough for you.

I have worked for Langdale for almost 4 years now, I started out at as a HCA and quickly progressed my way up to Deputy Manager and now i am a Home Manager. With each job you have in life there is pressure and at some point in life you will feel stressed out at work, this is human nature! but the support you have from higher management and the directors is amazing! I have worked in care for almost 10 years now and never felt so much support. I have never witnessed a high staff turn-over in fact the opposite especially at Langdale View. We have always had staff on waiting lists to start! Langdale might have high standards but i do believe that all care settings should have high standards, after all you are looking after the vulnerable.

I have been working as a nurse in the UK close to 20 years and worked with several care companies. This is the only Care company that has a family feel and supports career development for their staff. This company has invested so much in improving their service over the years and has been awarded with high ratings from CQC and local authorities. The Directors are very passionate about Care and their commitment are 2nd to none. The Company will reward staff accordingly and promote people who are committed for their career advancement. The family who runs this business are down to earth and very hardworking people. This company I highly recommend!

Before anyone accepts a job from this company, know this. The directors are dictators, they talk nice, then once your in the door they pull the rug out from under you. They threaten you (I have proof) They bulky you into doing things, they do not appreciate you. You have to bow down to them and take all their insults and say nothing. There's a culture of fear and intimidation within this company. Especially the directors whom think they can walk all over you. I have seen the trauma caused to staff and their hardship. There is a massive labour turnover here, because once people know what these lot are really about, people choose to leave. They've never got enough staff, why Because they abuse their staff so badly no one wants to work for this company. The unnecessary pressure, the poor working conditions, minimum wage with not a single benefit in sight. They remind you of what it shouldn't be like to work for a company. Consider this before taking any role within this company.

This company operates in a very abhorrent manner. The directors and most of the management use intimidation and belittling ways to make you do what they want. I had 2 family tragedies close together, these lot asked for PROOF?!?! Who in their right mind asks for such things? They do not care about their employees. Exploitation is at the heart of this business. They offer little to no benefits, and expect you to just take their slander.
