Myself and my partner came into the shop this morning to donate 2 bags of gents clothes (some items brand new), some bedding and a bag of ladies shoes. We were greeted by an older lady with glasses who was quite abrupt and rude. She told us to “just leave them there as I am busy moving furniture“. No thanks, we had to get out of her way and we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome by her attitude, to such an extent that perhaps we will donate elsewhere in future.

I love this shop and the staff are usually lovely. Today however I was met by an extremely rude lady who was cross that I'd brought my donations through the front door and not the back. I offered to take them round the back but the response was an irritated sigh . Needless to say I took my excellent quality donations away and will give them to another charity. I appreciate that these people are volunteers but there is no need for the rudeness I was met with.

The shop and the staff are great, customers are always made welcome and help is readily availabie if required. There is a wide selection of furniture, bric_a _brac, clothing for all and toys. Well worth a visit, it's quite safe as all precautions have been taken. Pop in, have a look round and support this worthwhile charity
