I have just completed a DPV course and had an amazing time, Kev is very experineced instructor and very patient. Alos super quality diving equipment to use whilst training. If you are looking to buy kit hes very reasonable and always takes the time to show you and set it all up. A fantastic expereince all round.

I had the pleasure of working with both instructors Kev and Jon whilst doing my open water course, both well knowledgeable and massively passionate about diving. What separates the RAID courses run by severntec compared to other dive schools is the training is completed right through from start to finish primarily on a 1 to 1 basis, 1 to 3 at most. This prioritises the attention you need to truly become a self sufficient and capable diver in the least amount of time possible.
They also run numerous trips in the UK and overseas to dive in some of the best locations around the world. In December, I’m going to Egypt to do my advanced course, which is also an option that severntec provides at a very competitive price point should you not fancy the UK’s “tropical” temperatures.
An other point worth mentioning is the friendly and inviting community that comes with severntec, it’s not difficult to make new friends and find dive buddies here, some truly great people in this community.
If you’re considering taking up diving, my advice is go for it! You won’t be disappointed 🙂

Kev, who owns and runs Severntec diving, is a top class instructor and a top man. He’s very hard working and always willing to help with advice or equipment. Whatever courses you need he can train you as he’s PADI, BSAC and RAID qualified.

I took a sports diver training course with kev from Severntec diving, I thought that I was an ok diver but soon found out I needed to relearn my buoyancy and finning technique's, after doing that we worked hard , I finished the course and now feel confident to progress with my depths,
