As a man I came to them for help and got no help, they totally disregarded my safety, my mental and physical health to the point I became suicidal. Because I was with them I couldn't get help or support from any other Domestic Abuse organisation. All the other men under their so called care I meet had the same experience. They demanded us men had to have our "Key worker" sessions at the female location. Which is totally inappropriate for both the men, visiting and the women at the female refuge. And after my location at the men's refuge had been compromised they didn't offer to move me to another refuge. The men's refuge didn't meet fire safety regulations, and there were no staff on site or CCTV for our protection.
If your a man don't go to these people for help.
