I've been dancing at TMD since I was just 11 and only made the decision to leave last summer to go on to university. I struggle to put the words together to describe this dance school. Kelly, my dance teacher has been one of the best women I have ever met. She is the kindest and bravest person you will ever speak too and always puts her dancers first. I have met so many other dancers through this company and grown with them through the years who I can now call my best friends. Learning to dance is the best thing you will ever do and doing it with TMD made it even better. I'll love True Motion forever!

Kelly is a wonderful dance teacher. We took lessons with True Motion before our wedding and Kelly helped us to choreograph our first dance. Kelly is professional, flexible, creative and always encouraging. She took us from under confident and untalented dancers to performing an impressive dance on our big day. We enjoyed our lessons, lots of practice at home and even performing for our guests! Thanks Kelly

I have been a dancer at TMD since mini movers and i have grown up as a dancer and a person with Kelly. Kelly has always made True Motion Dance the most welcoming group and i’ve always felt so comfortable in the lessons. Kelly is an amazing teacher and choreographer and she is so patient and light hearted, even when it comes to show days. True Motion Dance is like a second family to me and I cannot recommended it enough to anyone aspiring to be a dancer or just with a current interest in dance. My technique over time has been strongly built up by Kelly and given me so much more confidence when i dance.
I have also spent a week doing work experience with Kelly where I got to see what it is like behind the scenes and it shows how great and committed Kelly is to the dancers.

My soon to be 4 year old daughter i am proud to say has been a part of the True Motion Dance crew for the last year. As a first time mum at the time and my daughter starting to join activity groups you are a bit cautious in the beginning as it is all new, but with Kelly I feel like we have found the most special dance teacher and mentor for Teddy. She has created a fun, professional envoirnment for the kids to get involved and learn dancing. All the girls and boys in the group are so lovely and it feels like a family and seeing the older kids take the little ones under their wings is so comforting as a mum watching on. Teddy absolutely loves her creative ballet and mini movers and she has learned so much already. I know she has a safe place for life being apart of True Motion Dance I would recommend to any parent looking for a great activity for their kids.

i have been with kelly for 8/9 years now, she has really helped me to develop
my technique and has opened up many opportunities that i would never think possible. She’s patient and an overall lovely person to be surrounded by. she’s always looking after everyone and making sure we go to the paces of others, opening up the youth company has allowed me to develop further skills into my dance and allowed us to explore different types of dance for us. She lets other dances develop skills by allowing them to be mentors, and she always lets us have a say in some choreography. i would recommend tmd to many people of all ages.

My son has attended True Motion for about 3 years now. Kelly has done wonders for his confidence and technique and his love of dancing continues to grow. He thoroughly enjoys his lessons and persevered through lockdown with weekly online sessions.
Sadly he's met with some prejudice from peers but Kelly has supported him throughout and he values her feedback and advice. 110% would recommend True Motion Dance Company.

I don't even know where to start. My daughter has been with True Motion Dance for over 3 years and it's one of the best things that could have happened to her. The amount her confidence has grown is just incredible to see as a parent. Kelly is without a shadow of doubt one of the kindest people I have ever met and the amount if effort that her and Matt put into everything this dance school has to offer is just incredible. We love being part of the True Motion Family and there just isn't enough stars for the recognition they deserve.

Where do I start.. I absolutely love True Motion! I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to anybody. Having attended for the last 9 years I have seen students of all ages (and even adults!) flourish in Kelly’s classes. Whether you’re a teeny tiny dancer wanting to learn ballet, an adult wanting to have fun at a hen party, or you want to pursue dance as a career, True Motion caters for everybody. Kelly worked so closely with me, helping me achieve my dream of studying at a dance conservatoire for higher education - I would not be where I am today without the training that True Motion provided me! As a student I was able to grow, have fun, feel free and gain so much confidence. True Motion is SO inclusive and I felt such a sense of belonging and safety in this wonderful little family that Kelly runs. What’s more, we are all given so many opportunities; to work with one another, to perform, to take trips to the theatre, and so much more! I could go on forever about how amazing I think True Motion is for anybody, but words can’t really express how invaluable I feel it has been to my life. Thankyou Kelly, you are amazing!
