I’ve been with Onward for almost 3yrs, I’d say the repairs department is poor and I waited 2 years and gave up. Only on my 2nd inspection where I complained to the housing officer face to face did I get prompt repairs that week, however one of them was of poor quality.

For a gas service this month, I was threatened with legal proceedings. I didn’t receive any letters and the only call I got was the day before an appointment which I couldn’t do as I was at work. I rang explaining this and then Onward had the cheek to say that legal proceedings were being taken due to lack of access, the woman couldn’t tell me where these mysterious letters had been sent re: gas service. I’d had no calls prior to this either. Out of all the housing associations around, avoid Onward.

I am still waiting for a resolution.

Your company now is tormenting the area, and the are ALL WEAR heavy duty construction headphones and have ZERO REGARDS in surrounding areas, and for people on sick leave and trying to rest..

Tormenting and spending hours, near a house.
Walking around and grinning.

You would never, ever see such housing maintenance service, somewhere in Marlborough or Devizes, Frodsam.

Disgusting how you've disroyed everything.

Entering properties with no permission and just jain saw massacre every plant.
Took down 20 meters coverage of 10 year old privacy hedges.

Barbaric service.

Terrible Freehold Company – Avoid if Possible
The lack of regulation for leaseholders allows this company to take monthly service charges with little to no visible improvements. I've been stuck in an ongoing parking dispute for months due to their own mismanagement, and the customer service is truly appalling. To make matters worse, the intercom in the apartment has not even been working for over a year, and despite numerous follow-ups, it remains unfixed. Extremely disappointed with the service provided.

Awful Housing Association. I've been with no oven for 18 months now. No Washing Machine for 8 months and ruined floors for 6 months. Every time I call they start the process again stating someone will call to do the repair but it never happens. Escalated to the Complaint Team which is even less responsive and takes longer to sort out any issues. They dont keep an accurate log of the information and bits of info are always missing. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

This is the worst housing association going, I am a previous tenant of 10 years with onward homes, and I can honestly say for a social housing group the managment is a disgrace. I moved out of their property 4 months ago and this company continues to steal my money. Taking service charges out of my bank account, when I call to complain and get my money refunded I was told I had an overpayment on my account some of which come from Uc and some from myself. It’s now been over a week and I have called to complain yet again to be told, that infact it’s down to Uc to declare if it’s an overpayment, which they can clearly see it isn’t as I paid them what Uc would have in order to move as anyone knows Uc pays in arrears. Nevertheless the services charges money they have been taking from my account is my wages, but it’s down to Uc to decide if I can have it back. Onward homes are robbing vunerable people and would have continued to take money from my account if I had not realised and called them to cancel the direct debt as I couldn’t do it on my side. As single mother of a child with additional needs and I also suffer with severe mental health myself, this company is An absolute disgrace and glad I am no longer a tenant of theirs. But still enduring the consequences of being a previous tenant.

Awful Company. No morals whatsoever. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Service charge of £850 a month for a two bed flat in a small town in Bury. No service received, if anything they ruin the surrounding areas. Knightsbridge in LONDON is cheaper. If I could give a minus score I would. They should be wiped off the face off the earth. Absolute filth.

If there was 0 stars I would give, been left all bank holiday weekend with a leaking boiler onto wires as I was told this is not an emergency, How can they leave people in unsafe houses with 2year old children for over 4 days!
