I not got any type of help from them . Everything what they did , they took my son away from me . In a year I can see my son 24 time. And mostly my son away from this county with his dad . Now I am pregnant with other baby from other man, and everything is perfect . Social worker start coming my house when I was 15 week pregnant . The only stress I have it's a social worker who want take my unborn child away from me . Even they telling they not have consult about this baby . But same thinks all listen from them week before they took my first child . They told me "nobody can't take child from his mom " . And next week my ex husband took it because social worker told to not give me child back . 2 week they can't give any proof or documents that they have right took it away from me . With no proof, my husband win a count !
When I need there help , that didn't help me . They can only take child away !
And now because of all this situation , when everything is perfect in my life , my heart start beating much more when I just listen about social services .
When they ask me if i drink alcohol I told them , when my son on weekend with his dad ,I can drink glass of red wine .( 2 time a month when my son not home ) . They write , that I have alcohol issues.

This organisation only wants to split parents from their children regardless of who has the children whether in care or with other family members who are not necessarily suitable for the welfare of the kids.
I believe children can only thrive in a family setting where the children have equal time with both parents if parents have split or if otherwise parents should be given access to support through referrals.

My experience of this organisation has both been positive and negative. Previously they listened to my case and saw that I was a capable parent but as of recent I'm on the second social worker the first one just existing at one meeting and then non existent and now with the second edition she fails to answer any correspondence with the parent fighting for the kids and only listens to the grandparents involved and tells the mother that she is being selfish and to close her mouth basically.

Take a solicitor with you or they will fabricate everything you say to them, don't feed them information they will use it against you at a later date. Make sure you get the minutes From each meeting or they will have you on a child protection plan with false information.

Left with zero help, asked for help did not receive any sgo team cut us off by saying distance was to much for them to help social worker did not say they was finished with or anything only got to know through an early help worker so a small child left with no help with special needs and two adults left to get on with it with no help.

Hate em. Horrible people. All they do is take away the children that have loving mums/dads never help the ones who really need it
