Free parking went on a Saturday so car park was quite full as not that big but still found a spot, marked walks, lovely walk, would go again.

Nice easy stroll through the woods to the chimney. Beautiful structure and so peaceful, with a pretty lake and gorgeous surroundings. We were delighted to see all of the dragonflies over the lake and wondful heather growing nearby. Tip: take your camera.

Wow! A beautiful and tranquil place, very easy walk in a figure of nine along stone paths, several benches along path, also many natural manmade trails throughout woods which are uneven underfoot great to explore and walk dogs. No bins on site so please take all waste home with you. Little car park with 6' high max entrance barrier.

Lovely spot for walking the dog. Just as a pre warning, there are Forestry operations happening at the moment which slightly restricts how much of the area you can explore.

Lovely place for a walk with winding paths and deep woods. Dogs welcome. Car park is decent in size (height restriction in place). Large area to walk and the chimney is an interesting landmark.

This is a nice little walk to take the family or just of you'd like a bit of purge and quiet.

A nice flat and (for the most part) easy to walk path suitable for buggies too. One of the trails comes out at an historic smelting chimney called "Smitham Chimney". In front of the chimney is a pond which had a huge number of dragon flies flying around.

It was very quiet when we went.

TIP: Take bug spray as we got bitten a lot while we were there.

Charming walk with some local history too. Wide and we'll surfaced path in many places. Good car park with picnic benches. Some of the footpaths into the woods are lovely and worth exploring especially if you have a dog that loves the woods, and can eventually take you to views across to the lakes.
