Beautiful place. There’s a few nice trails to follow and paths to explore. You’ll be enveloped by tall trees and may find a few surprises along the way. Go explore (there is parking)

Beautiful place to avoid the Human Race.. I have come to terms. Best be with mother nature than trust any man in Bristol. Experience counts doesn't it. Better than research is experience. I am so glad assited dying has come in. This is why I am stopping posting with this last picture. Simply because human nature is now not to be respected or trusted. Not even law as I told them. Bridge to far to get trust back. Well. No more post ever on the account. Human nature is so untrustworthy. So criminal. Corrupt. All the non caring word's and no man can be a man to deny the truth.

Leigh Woods is Bristol's largest woodland area which was saved from destruction and gifted to the National Trust, it offers a fantastic experience for families with young kids, who can enjoy spotting animals and exploring the woods or the 7.5-acre camp. With three biking trails catering to different skill levels and a route for runners, it's perfect for orienteering. However, visitors should be prepared for potentially muddy conditions on rainy days

There's something for everyone! Love hiking? Have a dog? Love picnics? Have a bike? You'll feel right at home. Leigh Woods is a beautiful woodland area and a popular destination for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers alike, offering stunning views of the Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

The woods are home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, foxes, and badgers. There are also a number of interesting historical features to be found, such as the remains of a Roman villa and a 17th-century ironworks.

It is a great place to visit for a leisurely stroll or a more challenging hike. There are a number of different trails to choose from, ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate. The woods are also a great place to take a picnic or have a barbecue, with plenty of spots to choose from.

I have been coming up to leigh woods since i was a young man... we used to come up on our bikes and fly down the tracks... fall off and have a right laugh....
Growing up and having a family.... For years now, I have bought the girls up here, and we have always found something fun to do. Weather we are climbing trees... building dens... playing hide and seek.... having a picnic or just going for a walk and getting some much need fresh air.... it is always a blessing to get out of the city and lose yourself in nature. I can 100% recommend
Ps. We do miss the swing though... please bring it back 😎

Leigh Woods is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room and pathways to explore. We visited in the rain, which didn't matter under the tree cover. Had a lovely experience of a deer walking out in front of us. Lovely to get back to nature.
