GSTT Foundation ... The Health Trust You Can’t Trust.
They are not keeping their promises and they are behaving unacceptably toward the small businesses of Lambeth. Let's not talk about the environmental impacts of their future actions; just words, but actions speak otherwise.

Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation are evicting their tenants - creative small businesses and a venue that supports local musicians – at Christmas time. The spirit of Scrooge lives. This is shocking behaviour from a so-called charity. Real charity means nurturing the emotions and health of others. Let Old Paradise Yard continue to thrive.

I am not quite sure what is the exact purpose of Guy's and St Thomas' Trust Foundation, or how it's management works.

On its webpage, it is said that GSFTT is "investing for a healthier future", "supporting patients and their loved ones" and "driving more equitable health" - that is all well and good.

However on the private side, I heard that GSTTF owns big plots of land in London, and is behaving in abusive ways towards small businesses and charities on their land. Because people opposed a developpement project (the Royal Street Planning Application) (45,000 petition signatures against it) GSTTF is now evicting some tenants on the site of developpement and coldly refuses any negotiation with them, so that GSTTF can continue its developpment project (ie. essentially a demolition) in peace.

Surely, a health charity should -more than enyone else- be attentive to people's needs and wants, review their developpment plans carefully according to the population's feedback, and behave in an empathetic and human way?

I struggle to understand where GSTTF's values stand in all of this. Is the Foundation just a £1 billion private backscratcher society?

Nothing can replace the soulfulness that Iklectik has created, and the nurture they have given to local musicians like me. The building is beautiful and surrounded by trees and plants. It is irreplaceable. Pllease think again and don't evict these incredible, selfless, hard working people this Christmas.

Why is the GST Foundation planning to build an oversized and unnecessary office development in place of irreplaceable green areas, heritage buildings and a unique creative spaces? How did Lambeth Council approve this? How is this a charitable foundation? Aaargh!

GSTT Foundation, organisation with questionable values and that don't keep their promises towards OPY businesses. After telling them they could stay until the demolition, they are now evict them on an extremely short notice putting all of them and their clients at risk.

The Foundation is putting an oversized and unnecessary office development in place of irreplaceable green spaces, heritage buildings and a unique creative enclave. Lambeth Council doesn't need more buildings or CO2 in its atmosphere!

This Foundation wants to evict and destroy about 20 original small businesses, and a public heritage site, just to build their tower blocks (with questionnable public utility and desastrous environmental impact...)
They have been communicating really badly with concerned individuals.
They're lying, ignoring us, distracting from the matter, and basically taking us for idiots.
I am very angry with them.
