My grandson and I booked a guided kayaking trip up the Regents Canal with the Pirate Castle staff.

Service was excellent, and the guide provided a lot of background and historical information as we proceeded on our route from the Castle to the zoo, and back.

The guide did a great job of getting us into our kayaks, and I felt well looked after and very safe.

A great day out, and very reasonable price. Good value for money!

Pirates is such an amazing place with opportunities for everyone from paddlesport to narrow boating. There are so many amazing people that are so friendly and welcoming. The canal is also an amazing green space in London to see all aspects of nature.

The venue is great, and they have a large variety of activities that you can do, mainly centered around the canal, however you are also able to book the hall for dry activities. The facilities are fully accessible, with a lift inside and a wheelchair ramp for the larger narrow-boat. All of the staff are very friendly and inclusive, and regularly do LGBT themed paddles.

I highly recommend the Pirate Castle services for private boat tours. I booked the Black Pearl for a private 2h cruise on the canal with a group of friends. Price is reasonable compared to other businesses, and service is above expectations! Our skipper was lovely, and we were able to bring food and drinks aboard, we could also play music. A great way to celebrate my birthday!

I loved my kayak tour with The Pirate Castle 🏰🛶

It's a great charity working with young people in Camden and beyond to promote better life chances and healthier living.

The walls nearby are covered in gang tags. Gangs prey on younger people in the area and an aim of The Pirate Castle is to help move them away from gangs and into activities on the canals, forming friendships and 'gangs' they can be proud to belong to.

If you're looking for something different to do in London I'd highly recommend their tour, and a bonus is you're supporting their great work too 😊

Attended a birthday party here. Clean and tidy environment with kitchen and event room for rent. Great location on the canal. Plan to get the kids to go kayaking here soon!
