We were awarded the funds to buy an air purifier/air conditioning system for our unwell daughter who has been struggling with the weather recently, this will keep her comfortable and make such a difference to us , thank you for your quick responses and friendly correspondence, it can be quite uncomfortable asking for help, but we're so glad we did. We lost our 13 year old son to a brain tumour and we were given the leaflet for react from acorns hospice , we applied for help to be told firstly that they had too many applications then that we had to apply within 12 months of our child’s death. Anyone who has ever lost a child knows that there is no WAY that you can bare to look into doing ANYTHING within the first year plus there was nothing on the leaflet or the website to tell us this information. We both lost our jobs after losing our son and we desperately want a gravestone for him and we feel completely let down by this charity, any amount would have helped in our time of need but NONE was offered by Sophie Murdoch who couldn’t have been colder in her emails , it was traumatic enough filling the form out let alone to be told there was a time limit on our grief , if I could have put zero stars I would , this has left us feeling disappointed and distraught and let down by this “ charity “.

What a fantastic company! There was no way we could afford the amount required for a specialist disability trike for our little boy. So we reached out to REACT who kindly awarded us with the money to purchase one. Our little boy is over the money to get the chance to be able to ride a bike like any other child. It’s something we never thought we would ever be able to experience. We can’t thank you enough

I am very thankful that React Charity exists! Having a disabled child means facing a lot of unexpected costs. They helped me buy my daughter's car seat, so she is now safe in the car. They also sent us on a holiday break to their mobile home in Wales. Additionally, they helped me purchase a cooker, allowing me to prepare warm, homemade meals for my daughter.

I really, really appreciate what they are doing! Good people and good organizations still exist, and REACT is one of them. Highly recommended!
