I have never seen the like!! The amount of things here boggles the mind!! Such a vast array of products, you really wouldn't need to go anywhere else, small wonder it is so well frequented, both by locals and visitors. And the items weren't stupidly priced either for what is an independent department store, the residents of Wroxham & Hoveton are lucky indeed, especially with free car parking available for up to 1000 cars behind the store!!

Item incorrectly priced on shelf, they refused to honour the displayed price giving very weak excuses about it not being their fault, obviously it was but the manager dug their heels in and I ended up buying what I wanted on line.

Each time we visit Wroxham, we have to have a look around in the stores, and we always find something to buy. It is really quite enjoyable to browse around a store that is so traditional. The staff are knowledgeable and very polite, which makes the experience even more pleasant.

Whilst on holiday in Great Yarmouth we had a day out at beautiful Wroxham and like always we paid a visit to Roys and so lovely to see a good family business doing well and what an amazing business, they have everything in this department store, homeware, clothing, plus a toy store across the road in another building and can honestly say probably one of the best toy shops I have ever visited and in another building they have a fantastic food hall and everything here was top quality produce at very reasonable prices, for us no visit to Wroxham is complete without a visit to Roys.

Clothes are a bit old fashioned to be honest, nice for a wander round.
Coffee shop really nice, try the Apple Crumble cake, yummy!
Garden centre area cheaper than other places, nice looking plants etc.

Generally an OK shop if you need something urgently.
Their pricing structure is obviously geared up for tourist prices, rather than for the locals.
They’ve been pushing Hawstone beers recently, which was great, as they aren’t available everywhere. Suddenly, they’ve ramped their prices up by more than 15%. I assume this is in preparation for the start of the tourist season. - I can’t see any other reason for this, as Waitrose are selling them for £1 per bottle cheaper. And Waitrose isn’t known for being cheap! 🤣

We do use Roy's regularly for some clothes & shoe shopping, they did have some good offers on this time & my wife managed to buy some sandals at a discounted price.
