Very good new year's eve party here. The band had everyone up dancing all night. Candy and her staff were brilliant. It would be great if there was money to upgrade everything (toilets) so it was less dated, but they put on a great do.

Firstly, I would like to start by saying what a lovely club you have. It’s just unfortunate that from the get-go we were not welcome. We had a 21st birthday party booked there and from the moment we got there we did not feel welcome at all. The party was stopped because I shouted outside. I will own that ,I shouted to all the guests to come back inside and stop bickering. You can imagine what a 21st birthday party is going to be like BUT to have the lady behind the bar come in and tell lies that people were out the front fighting when this was not the case , was also rude to most of the people in the hall and shut the party down early. It was A 21st birthday as you already knew it would be loud ,I understand you have a built up area but why have one in the first place I am not to bothered on how we all got treated, what I am bothered about is that some people wanted to become members of your club they have been refused. These people do not drink and are new to the area They were invited to the party because their son knows the girl, to be told the party was going to be shut down because of fighting in her words (throwing punches ) is Ludacris. There was no fighting at all! however am not stating the actions were right as guests, but to me if your face does not fit you are not getting in , half of those adults wanted to Join the club but they will definitely be keeping a wide birth ! In fact they will be now going to the new pour house as we have heard such lovely things .. just a shame that we were warned about the club but we just thought it was hearsay if only we listened,

Having sailed the 7 seas in the Royal Navy during the 70's and 80's it was great to meet up with fellow shipmates for a tot of pussers rum all washed down with another tot of pussers rum... then I woke up and asked Popeye if he could give me a lift home but Olive did it instead as she is now a Jenny Wren.
Wot can you do with a drunken Sailor...

I have been a regular at the Club for many years and am currently serving as Chairman.
We are a family Club and have live entertainment on a Saturday night, to hopefully suit across the board. We are trying to push forward to increase membership and appeal to the late 20's 30's and forties age groups. There will soon be younger live bands monthly to start with on a Friday night. We are also starting to provide outdoor seating in the nice weather.
All in all a very friendly place to visit. Recently we opened our Memorial garden to remember those who gave their lives in service to this Country and the garden is available to the wider community for quiet contemplation etc.

I have been a member sInce 2013. It is a good drinking bar. Membership is open to all, not just ex-services. They host regular fundraisers for Help 4 Heroes and other charities. Friendly place.

Basic 'working mens' or 'ex services' members' drinking club like so many others. A drab building right in amongst the houses in a residential area.

The club proposition comprises cheapish beer, snooker, quizzes and local entertainment acts.

The nearest pub is half a mile away (St Leonards Hotel) and beyond that you're looking at a 2 mile journey either to the Fish on the western edge of Ringwood, or to the Three Legged Cross, located in the eponymous hamlet to the north west.

I mention this purely to illustrate that the Club has a unique opportunity to give many local people an alternative to driving out somewhere for a pint, meal or entertainment. I'm just not sure it's capitalising on that advantage.
