Where do I even start with how amazing this venue is! We had our son’s baptism and our wedding reception here and it was everything we could have dreamed of. On the lead up to the day, they were always available to answer our questions, fulfil our (many!) requests and help bring our vision to life. On the day, the food and drinks were amazing, the room set up was perfect and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, it was all totally seamless. Thank you to Matt, Brendan, Ellen, Andy and the rest of the team for such a fantastic day xx

We have held many family occasions at Christ the King Social Club and have always had a very positive five star experience. I recently held a big birthday celebration there and the whole event was easy to organise from start to finish.

Booking was done in a matter of minutes, Matt and his team.seamlessly organised the room, the food and the music. My queries on the build up to the event were always answered immediately, even when he was on holiday! Nothing was too much trouble.

On the day my family were easily able to get in to put up decorations and make sure all was in place. The room was beautifully set out, the bar staff were efficient and friendly, the musician was set up snd ready to go well in advance.

Andy Hudspith and his catering team are the best in the business offering a wide choice of mouth watering menus for every occasion which are professionally prepared and efficiently served, nothing is too much trouble for this kind and friendly team.

At the end of the evening a band of good, reliable staff carefully took my gifts and locked them safely away for me to collect in my car the next day.

A fantastic time was had by all. Thank you, Matt, Andy and all the staff for making my birthday celebration a really happy and memorable event.

All are made welcome here. A very warm, friendly, relaxing and safe environment is provided. Fabulous function rooms available for hire. Catering needs can be met. Regular social events held. We had our wedding and reception here 29 years ago and yesterday attended my niece's wedding yesterday. Great to see it as good now as it was then with the only notable change roast beef and Yorkshire puddings having changed to chicken curry and rice.

We have had a lot of family functions in Christ the King, the staff and management have always been so friendly and helpful. Love the bingo and Irish music every Sunday night. Would highly recommend here for any occasion, either upstairs in their large function room, or downstairs in the smaller one.

It's been lovely going to the Solo club dances once a week. Having lost my wife over a year ago I have enjoyed the company. I understand Christ the King are going to provide the venue once every two weeks after August. I do hope they will continue to host such a valuable group that helps lonely people.

We held a surprise party here recently, Matt and the team couldn’t do enough to help. The food was great and Ellen and her team work so hard, they are brilliant. Great service, lovely people, great food and drink, what more could you want!
