Yeh unfortunately this was a very bad experience for me, I believe ve there is still a bully mentality going on between staff in a high up position and veterans that deal with mental illness. I believe if you have wrong management in that have no empathy towards those that are suffering which really is one of the reason most people are there in recovery.
It’ seems that if you have served with the director you have a better chance of surviving this unfortunate mentally that goes on. I also believe some staff are not qualified to dictate medicine, and I had a really bad experience telling that it was all in my head and I didn’t need the medication.
Where just recently I’ve been suffering with the same back issue as I expected them to try to help me get to the bottom of this problem.
To be told I don’t need it and I just take medicine to get high, which when suffering in chronic pain is very upsetting to hear.

I’m now just waiting on a back operation for the ongoing issues I have with my back but told it was all in my head.

Andy and his dedicated team of professionals understand the needs of its clients, demonstrating compassion, patience and kindness at all levels.
The centre and its staff have met every expectation I had of a well-established supportive veterans network amd center, as outreach, I have frequent use of the centre's many facilities and activities which are greatly appreciated.
When I approached Andy I was at the end of my tether, the registration process was excellently structured with a kindness , understanding and empathy for my Circumstances ,I'd like to thank Andy and healthier heroes for my Christmas Dinner,support and understanding throughout a very difficult time.

Wonderful experience with the team after helping out with the fun day. ? Everybody is so welcoming and great team players leading the group of guys to what will be their own goals and homes.
