I am incredibly disappointed in the way the current Chair has acted in relation to a recent planning application. There is a long standing process applied by the society that involves a committee made up of planning professionals. This process had already been followed. It is not right that the Chair has chosen to override this process to write her own letter of objection in her position as Chair on Chislehurst Society headed paper. The society has otherwise been well known as an outstanding charitable association with the interests of all residents and businesses at heart.

I wish Bromley had a Chislehurst Society. So well run which makes a great difference to the Town. improving the area and lives of its residents now and in the future.

Incredibly disappointed that this great local charitable society has become politicised.
The Society, Visit Chislehurst and Chislehurst Matters have become so intertwined now one wonders how any local issues and decisions will not be become more contentious and political
What a shame these organisations now seem to be in the hands of such few people and I’m fearful we are slowly moving towards Chislehurst’s version of a politburo
