Such a kind gesture unfortunately some of the donated food doesn’t end up in the hands of vulnerable people where they deliver every Saturday!
Selfish staff grab all the food for themselves leaving the people who really need the food hungry with little or nothing and without these vulnerable families the food would not have been donated.

City Harvest provide an invaluable service to our charity "Joel Community Services" which is a project that provides temporary shelter to single people experiencing homelessness. One of our biggest operational costs is providing up to 40 meals a day 365 days a year. City Harvest allow us to considerable reduce that cost and as a result we can spend on the items that are more perishable like fresh fruit and vegetables so we can stick to our healthy eating ethos at Joel and work with our guests on their recovery and put them back in to society with good attitudes and habits towards eating healthy moving forwards. I cannot recommend City Harvest enough
