I run a class on a Friday morning at the community centre. Myself & all my clients are always impressed with the services of the centre. It’s ran by a great bunch of people (Gary & Smitesh) who always make sure the centre is clean, tidy & a great community vibe. It’s great to see the facilities being used once again to bring our community together. ☺️

I hire Swalwell Community Centre every Saturday morning to run Tappy Toes dance and movement classes for babies and toddlers. This venue is amazing, I'm so pleased I found it! It's always clean and tidy, well heated and well lit when needed. The staff (even though they're just volunteers) go way above and beyond to support me. The hall hire is so reasonably priced and I'm never rushed out when my time is up! There is ample parking available too. It's a gem, definitely a 5* venue.

I have attended yoga classes at Swalwell for many years. The hall is always clean and the toilets are too. It is a large hall with a high ceiling.
When we were allowed back to class following Covid, I always felt very safe as there was plenty of space and air circulating.
I know from the posters that decorate the walls that the centre is used a lot by the local community. It is lovely to see the playgroup children’s work on display.

Been going here since I was a kid and can say that since Gary and the girls started running the place it’s the best it’s been. They have worked so hard over the past couple of month bringing the community together and putting smiles on all the kids faces. We regularly attend play group and for the small donation you make it is so worth the money,2 hours of them running riot and I know they are always safe. The BBQ s were a massive hit and free of charge. The place is well looked after and it’s so nice to have it at the heart of the community. My little ones love it and we are even going to have his birthday party there he is so looking forward to it. Thank you for all yous have done for the people of Swalwell over the last couple of months it’s nice to see you bringing us all together after a long time in lockdown.

We booked Swalwell Community Centre for my daughters 6th birthday party and it was perfect! It is a large airey space with plenty of room for 40-50 children and their parents. The side door led to the car park which meant the children's entertainer could get straight in to set up. It was all very clean and well presented and the volunteers who met us there were extremely helpful and even brought my daughter a card and gift when they came to lock up! The cost of rental was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend using this space for children's parties amongst other uses and would book again .

I attended swalwell community centre over the Easter holidays with my children, they had a variety of activities for all ages.
Alll the kids loved it, they provided lunch, snacks tea and coffee,
One of my children who is only 5yrs old has a disability and behaviour problems, taking him to the community centre was the best thing ever he ran around and really enjoyed himself, he even began to play with other children which he has never done.
I am great full for the things that is now going on at the centre and looking really forward to the next school holiday.
Please keep up the fantastic work you are all doing.
