These guys are amazing from start to finish . I really didn't know what what i was in for at first but was informed was appendix. Within 12 hours was ct confirmed at next day was in theatre. Unfortunately was a bit more complicated than that. Next day was assessment told me what happened bit of a shock 😲 bowl opp the after care was inpecapable and really prepared. You guys are amazing 👏 apart from ng tube 💖 lol .. keep up the good good work .you work so hard .with so much care . And I really appreciate what you did and many thanks to sau shrews you is the best

I know the NHS is under horrendous pressure and for those reasons we waited before seeking help. The GP sent is straight to you. My husband was really poorly when he was fast tracked to SAU. Despite being pushed to the limit you were amazing, all the staff and volunteers truly kind and helpful. Thank you xx

Amazing !!! What more can I say clangers don't wear wings everyone lovely respectful fabulous from anesthetic s surgeons to SAU , ward 37 everyone who said hi and asked if I was OK down to my cuppa can't thankyou enough best hospital ever !!

Having had such an awful experience in A&E, I was dreading going back to the hospital, but I can't thank the SAU enough! They were so kind and helpful throughout, despite being so busy. They took me seriously and made me feel at ease. Fantastic team!

Oh what can I say , my visit was quite long but all the staff are absolutely fantastic , so friendly and helpful , with a special word for Triage nurse Pearl !! She should be renamed diamond !! If you are unfortunate enough to need to visit they will do their best to make you feel comfortable . Many many thanks to you all !!

Just wanted to say, I had my appendix removed on the 9th September.
Everyone looked after me so well, I have complicated medical history with having aplastic anemia but I was taken care of very well. I especially want to thank Katie a student nurse, she was truly amazing and kept my spirits high at all times. I thought she had been a nurse for years, she’s just a natural at what she does.
Thank you to all the staff on this ward 🙂
