I wanted to get clarification on a question of genetic predisposition to Paget's after my suggestion of this possibility had been dismissed by my GP. Diana Wilkinson provided very prompt and extremely helpful advice in the first instance, and then was equally prompt and helpful with my follow-up questions. I would add also that the Association's website is a fount of really useful information.

I have been a member of the Paget’s Association for approximately 10 years, since shortly after being diagnosed with Paget’s Disease of the left tibia bone. The Association has been absolutely brilliant, having provided excellent advice and helping me access the necessary expert care and attention. The staff are friendly, caring and go the extra mile to ensure that patients are fully informed regarding their condition. I would recommend that anyone diagnosed with the disease join the Association, it has certainly helped me to come to terms with my condition and access appropriate treatment though the Centres of Excellence network.

We worked with the Paget's Association, filming their annual conference. The support this organisation offers to those with Paget's disease gives many people real strength and courage- we know as we met the very people whose lives have been improved by connecting with the association. They are a team of people who offer support and knowledge in the condition and really care about what they do.

It's hard to find information on Paget's.
Although I have been lucky enough to be correctly diagnosed with the condition and referred to an endocrinologist, the specificity of the condition lends itself to further research. But where would you look for accurate information? The Paget's Association is the answer.

Here you can find a wealth of information plus support on many levels.

As a result I am part of an Zoom group led by a Paget's nurse, peopled by others with this condition. I am sure everyone gets something different out of this experience, for me not only have I gotten information but a sense of community and insofar calm. I am not afraid of this condition anymore because of my experience with this Association.
