The room was pretty basic but had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good.
The highlight was the absolutely amazing view from my window, straight onto the courtyard. Plus it was a very short walk to the on site pub.
Quite expensive but we really enjoyed ourselves.

Came here excited for my wedding, left disappointed and embarrassed. Where do I even start, the hotel rooms were freezing and felt like I was a Victorian child sleeping in a really back dated room. The organisers tried their best to book this event for us but clearly didn’t know what they was doing. The organisers with the black hair wasn’t very professional. Only best thing about this place was the manager Euan in the pub

I love the place.
But when I emailed the place twice to ask about menus for coeliacs in the group, I got no response. After two emails without response, I contacted the venue by telephone. I spoke to the person who looked up my email and saw my query. They said there would send me a menu and price list so I could assure the party we were booking for could be accommodated. This never happened, so with short notice, I had to book another venue. This turned out to be fantastic but I didn't want to reject local trade. I've been back to the White Hart since just for drinks and my company have loved the place.. I feel they could have done more to deal our request proactively.

We found it very difficult to find the accommodation as signage on the site is not too obvious, after asking two different pedestrians along the road 'to the hotel' we eventually found it. The check in area was closed and we were directed by two staff in the area to go to the White Hart bar. We were handed an envelope with our room key, and again had to search for the entrance to the rooms. Once inside the building, which smelt a bit damp and fusty, we found out room on the first floor. The room was tiny and very basic, but clean. Breakfast the next morning had not been indicated to us, this was also in the White Hart bar area. No staff approached us during the time we were at the Hall. For the price of the room for one night we felt it was not great value.

Really nice place, rooms were spacious but I could get any hot water in the shower for some reason. Not much for kids to do as the play area had to be taken down. I’d also suggest giving a bit more info prior to turning up as weren’t sure where to go.

I stayed here for 3 nights (B&B) as part of a wedding package. The room I had was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was of a high quality with a good selection of food and all the staff I met were very helpful and welcoming. Thank you for a brilliant few days. The surrounding areas and the buildings at the hall are stunning and it is good value for money.

Great peaceful location. Rooms quiet, comfortable but slightly dated. Breakfast was fantastic with locally produced bread, bacon, sausages and eggs. Evening bar service and check in were great. Very pleasant stay and will be back.
