Two gentlemen from this charity stopped my brother who is a vulnerable adult with cognitive disabilities and with obvious speech and hearing difficulties to hand over his debit card, took the details and proceeded to take a payment from his bank account in his own garden. Luckily neighbours over the road spotted what was happening and contacted me, his legal Deputy at the Court of Protection. What made it worse was that they read all the notices on the front door about who was welcome, charities are not as we choose our own charities to support and just because he was watering his plants in his front garden, they captured him there. Luckily for me I captured them reading the notices on the Ring doorbell. Also Luckily Lloyds bank were absolutely amazing in helping to me to deal with this matter and have recorded the incident and have advised me what to do next which I will do. It left my brother very upset and me with a huge dent with regards to the depths that humans will go to in the name of charity. Of course they will say he handed over his card, which of course he did because he felt he had no other option with two men standing over him unable to express himself fluently. This is lucky for Christian Aid because they can't be prosecuted for fraud. If he had been in doors he would not have opened the door. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed with Christian Aid so obviously unable or unwilling to practice what they preach.
