We were in the garden for a social distanced, bring your own food, Church picnic (Woodlands Early Morning congregation). Loved it. Been in the church hall before, for other events. Plenty of space, inside and out. Good car parking around the neighbourhood.

Very friendly and welcoming! Lots of great discussions, wonderful music and relevant sermons. Very easy to get involved and the church lunches are very delicious and additional enjoyable times of fellowship with the Alma family. Great place for children as well!

Alma is a relaxed, friendly and welcoming church. Tea and coffee before and after the service, good music, relevant and thought prevoking talks and great groups for our 2 small children too.

Oh my days! Blast from the past! I use to come here as a kid there was stepping stones and 7 up club and I absolutely loved it. Even though I'm not Christian it was a lovely experience as a child. Now nearly 30 with a second child right around the corner I couldn't recommend this place enough. Even if your not massively religious i would still highly recommend it if it was anything like it was in the 90s.

Alma is a wonderful, community orientated church with a real heart for Bristol. As well as its Sunday services, Alma celebrates the international community with 'Conversation Cafe' a chance for internationals, often students, to feel at home in a new country or city. It also has a number of midweek children's groups and homegroups (bible studies) so that church life is never restricted to a Sunday morning. If you're looking for a church home to settle in and feel truly part of, Alma's inclusive congregation may well be just the right church for you.
