Traditional members only club. Attended with friends for a meal on steak night, new event apparently. Quite a wait for the meal as one of us ordered fillet, would have benefitted from the addition of onions, but nice quality meat. Pleasant surroundings, generally professional, retired people seem to join for dances, cinema nights etc. Apparently linked to other clubs globally.

Historical Clifton Club, occupying the most prominent position in the Mall Clifton.
Relaxed as clubs go, very large barr area, great dining and a truly enviable wine list offering some superb wines at affordable prices. Try a premiere crus Beaune for £42 for example.
Very sociable club with some nice people.

The Clifton Club is a private member's club over 200 years old. It is well worth joining. The Club Dining Room is excellent - they have a first rate chef.

Came here looking for a wedding venue, the Club offers a lovely and unique setting for a wedding with beautiful rooms that will make for excellent photos, they also make use of the public gardens outside, weather permitting. It is in Clifton so has the usual challenges a around parking. Prices look more competitive than similar venues like Goldeney Hall, however pay careful attention to the Terms and Conditions there is an extra 10% service charge and the cancellation fees include a sliding scale, factoring in the loss of revenue from the bar.
