EDIT the company is fixing the problem with the wheelchair and will have it Tuesday to Wednesday. Quick response when I complained.
Unfortunately not a very good experience.
Was told car ready for pick up Tuesday and then Thursday. I rang Thursday morning and the lady on the phone said it was being adapted at the dealership. I explained I wouldn’t be ringing if that was the case. She said she would check. The car she said, was 2 min away from the dealership, no call to dealership to say sorry for the lateness and that it was on its way.
They took my wheelchair to make a bracket which was fine for a couple of days but then it ended up 7days because of their delay in getting things done.
All in all. Not a great experience and communication needs to be increased with customer and dealership.

I visited last week with my elderly mum - we we’re looking for a walking aid as my mum’s balance has deteriorated recently. We received fantastic advice from the lady who served us (I’m sorry to say I don’t know her name). She noticed things about my mum’s posture and made suggestions without being pushy. My mum is absolutely delighted with her new walker and is feeling much more confident about going out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Able2Enable. Many thanks!

Able To Enable - York and/or Harrogate. My dealings with these guys hasn't been at either of the shops but via email, phone & on-site. Their bar is sooo high across all 3 dealings that I'm not sure Where to start! My email-trail goes back >18months & my constantly firing questions at them about the suitability of various cars for many & various adaptations. All answered promptly & clearly knowledgeable & moreover, extremely patiently. Latterly Mike has kept me informed of all developments & also had to liasse with the wheelchair manufacturer & the car dealership. When they had come out to the Ripon Dealership to fit the adaptations they were not only early but ended up staying late to ensure I was confident in handling the hoist they had installed. They even videod the steps on my iPhone for me so I could review it at my leisure. I don't think you could ask for more & I think even the dealership motability guy is going change to them. So, a big fat Well Done to All of them & an even bigger fatter THANKYOU!!

Excellent! We have been incredible happy with our experience of Able to Enable. From initially calling up with an enquiry about a little known all-terrain mobility vehicle called a 'Ranger' to finally purchasing one, Lewis and his team have been great. If there was something they didn't know about the vehicle at first (since it is quite rare) they soon found out. Their customer service is excellent and they are clearly enthusiastic and passionate about what they do. Our family are now enjoy the freedom of being able to explore the great outdoors. What wonderful service from Lewis and Chris at Able to Enable, Harrogate. They are a superb example of customer service at its' very best. On two separate occasions, Lewis spent ages with us, helping my disabled sister and I choose a motorised scooter and hoist which would fit best into the car she'd purchased. At no point did we feel rushed, pressurised or made to feel stupid. Once the hoist was fitted Chris patiently helped us understand how it all worked and how to lift the new scooter into the back of our estate car, putting us both at ease and helping us with several test runs. We cannot compliment them highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending them. We definitely will use them again in the future.
