We have been having lessons with Mel and Chris for one year! We have thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much more than we thought possible (although it still takes a while for the steps to get from our heads to our feet!). Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Mel & Chris from Absolute Balroom Dance for helping us to learn an amazing choreography for our wedding. We have no words to express how grateful we are for the time and effort you put into this. You created an excellent dance for us - everything what we wished for.
On the night the dance routine was a real success and our guests were very impressed - it is a memory we will treasure always as part of our special day.

We started learning to dance in Feb this year. From the very first lesson Mel and Chris made us feel welcome, comfortable and most importantly for us like we weren't wasting their time. Each week we have been patiently tutored by Chris and Mel and we can honestly say it's the highlight of our week. My personal favourite is the tango but each dance that is taught is done slowly, thoroughly and is great fun. If you just do one new thing this year then make sure you learn to dance with these two. You will absolutely love it!!

Since attending the Cha-Samba exercise dance class l am finding it a really fun, friendly and informal way of exercising whilst learning dance steps.

Joined Absolute Ballroom with my partner about 4 years ago. Really enjoy learning a variety of different ballroom dances in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Have made a lovely group of new friends who we have great regular social events with organised by Mel and Chris where we can try out the dances we've learnt 🥰💃

As someone who had 2 left feet I never thought I would be able to dance. Well 6 months later I think I can safely say how wrong I was, all you need is a good teacher(s) who have patience and that certain ability to show you in the simplest way HOW to dance. Mel and Chris have both. We have learned so much and have had a fun time learning. A great way to spend a Sunday tea time. Absolutely brilliant. Come and give it a try, you won't be disappointed. A really enjoyable class, we have really learnt a lot from Mel and Chris, we have tried other dance classes but none come close, they are friendly and supportive to dancers of all abilities and also put a lot into the social side. They organise social dances during the year and trips to Blackpool, you can also do additional practice classes which are really useful.
