My time with Acacia was absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t recommend them enough to anyone who feels like they’re struggling with postnatal/postpartum depression or anxiety. This charity truly helps mums who are finding it hard to see a light in the darkness. Yvonne, my key worker, was absolutely fantastic, and I can’t thank her enough for her support. Every volunteer and worker there dedicates their time wholeheartedly to helping mums, and it’s incredible that a charity like this still exists. Having been referred to Acacia with post natal depression and anxiety I can say that my counsellers hannah and bev have been wonderful.
My counsellor was a friend to me when I felt isolated, supporting me through my pregnancy and afterwards, advising me through difficult circumstances and always being the other end of the phone.
I would recommend acacia to everybody who could benefit from the service.
Thank you for being my voice when I was too afraid to speak and for helping me to become a more confident and capable parent. I will always be grateful for your help.
