Adapt and all the Staff there, have undoubtedly helped me to save my own life, not only that, but helped me piece it back together. the therapy and workshops they put on are second to none, with highly qualified therapists and support workers. for a charity based rehab they are second to none in the country. if you, or someone you know is struggling with addiction, I would highly recommend a referral to ADAPT.

Just when I was on the verge on giving up, with no one to turn to, Adapt opened its doors to give me the help I desperately needed. Eddy and the staff at Adapt have saved my life and have given me back the future I thought I’d lost. Top therapists and support workers and an excellent rehabilitation program.

Don’t expect anything to fall into your lap in respects of recovery but if you work the program, the program will work for you. Adapt can give you a great opportunity to start again and build back a worthwhile life without substance misuse and can also assist with reconnecting you with broken family relationships. I’d recommend this service to anyone that feels they have lost all hope, I’ve been here for just under 10 weeks and my transitional period has already started to take place. I am so Grateful to all the staff here, they do their job really well. Thank you ADAPT 🙏🏽

I was very very lucky and blessed to have found Adapt. Eddie and the fantastic team at adapt made me feel safe, accepted and hopeful...things I had lost. Everyday I began to find myself , recover and find a meaningful life. I have been to other places to help in my past but I can say adapt gave me something very unique and priceless. I can give back to the world I lost now and talk to my mother and family with happiness. Recovery certainly has its ups and downs and life too! but I couldn't have found anywhere better to help.The friends I have made through adapt, the great help and support... I hold dear to me and Thats more than I could ever imagined.

As a 58 year old man coming in to recovery for the 1st time after a life time of addition, which ended in years of living in crack houses. I've come to Adapt which has given me a safe haven to build up a better understanding and the tools to deal with my addiction. Its teaching me how to live back in society, a place I was lost in for so long. To say thank you for giving me a life back, doesn't seem to be enough. The best way I can show my gratitude is to emulate so many of it's ex peers in Oxford and stay clean. Thank you Adapt for giving me sometime I have struggled with all my life, and that is

Having been to many dry houses/ residential rehabs in my life ADAPT brings something different to recovery that simply works.

ADAPT focuses on relationships and building those relationships with others - in groups therapy sessions and outside of groups in shared experiences, doing health and fitness / yoga / days out / acupuncture/ drama to name a few. ADAPT has many assets but to name one - Matt. A fully qualified therapist with a back ground of addiction and a no-nonsense but loving approach. Matt facilitates most groups and his skills as a therapist shine through. Matt has a genuine passion and desire to help each individual to become the best person they can be and ultimately have a life without active addiction. Lucy - A kind and caring counsellor who delivers workshops that help us understand the our behaviours as addicts. And how to make small changes.

All this would not be possible if Eddie the founder of ADAPT had not worked as hard as she has to passionately put all this together.

ADAPT is run completely by people who have found a new way of life and have arrested there addictions. Being in adapt is a journey to find yourself through the love and support of others

I highly recommend ADAPT as a place to go if you want a new way of life.

ADAPT is a fantastic place for people that want to rebuild their lives after years of addiction to drugs or alcohol. It offers a safe place to talk through any issues that have caused problems in the past through interpersonal group therapy. There are also one on one counselling sessions available with highly qualified counsellors experienced in the field of recovery.
ADAPT also offers housing with other people in recovery. This gives one the opportunity to build lasting friendships with like minded peers dedicated to living a life free from addiction.
I would recommend ADAPT to anyone struggling with addiction issues.
This place can save your life if you are willing to put the work in. First class.
