I can only comment as a potential volunteer. I have not used the service. I just want to say that as a charity, an entity that claims to help and care for others, employees need to be more careful in how they come across, have more empathy for others' experiences and be more validating. I felt like my concern/issue was kind of brushed aside. The person failed to see how his behavior and statement caused me to feel excluded and uncomfortable. In the beginning of the meeting, I got the sense that he was fishing for information that he didn't really need to know.
So many charities fall too short of actually living up to their ethics and claims.

I can't recommend this place enough. They are very professional, experienced and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They give excellent advice without judgement and made me feel so much better everytime Ive spoken to one of their advisors. Can't thank them enough even if it doesn't solve the problem. I know they will be there to support me without judgement regardless of the outcome.
