It took almost 3 weeks to get the intake appointment. Was supposed to be assigned a counselor within a week. Been waiting 2 weeks. EVERY TIME WE CALL THE CENTER WE GET AN ANSWERING MACHINE. There never seems to be anyone available for clients who are in need. What is a victim was having s*icidal thoughts, and they kept calling and getting answering machines? Been so very LET DOWN by the lack of follow up, the lack of resources promised, and the lack of any real action or compassion on their part. If you need real help, call the RAINN Network.

Never donate to this place.
I was a client there. I was in a room overcrowded when there was lots of empty rooms.
I was harassed by 3 black girls that claimed all white people steal. They were selling drugs, they snuck out, and constantly starting fights .
There was even a white girl kicked out with a 3 year old baby the same day I was because once again those 3 black girls reported here on a lie .
This place is a joke. I didn't get any help at all.but of course the 3 black girls got bus ticket and help with housing . When I reported the criminal activity I was told to leave that minute. This place is a sham and needs to be shut down. One of the trouble making giri even said she lied about being abused and just staying there with free food and ac till she saved up money.

My son (,the victim), sits patiently in the waiting room as I currently at the time speak with interim execs for organization . Arriving excited beyond words to finally get some victim services discussed for my son. Initially, these were denied due to manipulates case specifcs facts by interviewer and Cps rep. (Forensic unterview. )WE left Speechless and NUMB to experience such disregard and and no consideration to just how negative this could impact my child. To be a organization stated in mission to protect child victims, this would be a misrepresentation to state simply. DISAPPOINTED, needs internal overhaul to allow equal just services.

We traveled to Watauga, Texas to get a final briefing and the Grand Jury report as it pertained to the murder of our daughter in April. The police detective and the advocacy representative were very understanding, very helpful, and answered all our questions that they were able without revealing some of the confidential details. We left the meeting well informed and appreciative. After this meeting we traveled to the facility for domestic violence victims where they had prepared a mediation garden named in honor of your daughter. This recognition of the terrible ending to a young woman's life from domestic violence is really appreciated.
