They understand Autism at least and after months of not doing anything (not sure why, it may be down to laziness) they drop my case - a week or two after me finally meeting the advocate - I'm stuck in a general hospital with a social worker miles and miles away (the other side of the country) i need help from an advocate but out of no where they dropped my case?

The Doctors say that i need an advocate too, i showed them the email that was sent to me because i wasn't understanding it, they also said that i have limited capacity which is another reason why i need one

The knowledge from the advocates wasn't very good anyway, they think i can't be transferred to Wales which is actually happening

I have a lawyer now that seems really nice and good anyway

I just wish Advocacy Matters wasn't so lazy

They tried saying i advocate for myself? but i need help so i don't know why they say that

Unprofessional, will assign an advocate then leave you for months without seeing them or having contact with them. Very basic knowledge of Autism.

This advocacy has a limited number of advocates and will terminate your advocacy with them at any time, even if you're really in need of them just because they have too many clients and not enough advocates.

They will not help you find a new advocacy that can meet your needs when this happens so you may have to go without an advocate completely.

You may be in a desperate situation, be in need of help and assistance from them and they won't do anything, if you have a complex case or need more help than the average person, there is an extremely high chance that they will terminate your advocacy with them. They do not want complex cases or cases requiring more advocacy help.

It feels like they only want basic cases so they have more clients and can get more funding instead of putting their clients first.
