Angela, a volunteer at Age UK Hammersmith, invited me to visit them a few week ago. I had a tour around and met a few of the people working there, then had a wonderful lunch, which was prepared by Angela and her team. I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the food Angela prepared, and considering the price, it was absolutely outstanding. As you can see from the pictures I have uploaded, everything from the presentation of the food to the taste was just great. If you are in the area, you should definitely give this lunch a try.

Being a volunteer cook at Age uk Hammersmith has been a pleasure for me, it's like being with the family each week cooking our daily meal, the love and joy from everyone that uses the service from me is brings joy and endless happiness to my heart, I truly appreciate all the service users, staff's and volunteers you are all amazing.

If you're over 65 and struggle to fill in forms or need a hot meal but don't want to cook this is the place to be. Friendly staff excellent lunch reasonably priced bargain in fact what is not to like

If you can find it it's a nice bright airy building that has a lunch club, various classes and plenty of information for older people. It's a lot farther down Greyhound road than l was led to believe. It's entrance is quite narrow but it opens out beyond the reception desk.

A simply wonderful and warm setting for a unique community of elders who support and enjoy each other. The staff including a lovely chap at reception, Peter and the part- time administrator in the office go above and beyond to cultivate a welcoming space with a piano, recreation room, kitchen and treatment/ tutor rooms , not to mention a fab tv projection and audio- visual methods.. Fresh food is served at an amazing price along with fun activities. My 76 year old mother who uses a wheelchair has grown to love coming here after being very shy and lonely at first. I’d encourage anyone to drop- in!
