Had a great time at the 4hr lunchtime event today (10-2pm). Love to attend regularly, but unfortunately it costs too much for us both to attend regularly. If things change (finances) we'll be back.

On two separate occasions in the past week I have used the excellent services of the Home from Hospital Transport Service, booked by MKUH Discharge Team. . I would like to thank Abbi and Mark who were my drivers and both looked after me with sensitivity and care. They assessed my needs prior to the journeys and were reassuring and gave me confidence.
As a former “Steam Queen” in our local Age UK Charity shop for 13 years, i have always been proud to be associated with Age UK. Thank you very much, Abbi and Mark, and thank you Age UK!

I go to lunch clubs on a Monday and Wednesday and have a great time with bingo, raffle, and then lunch. When you get there you are greeted by some of the volenteers and offered tea or coffee and on each table there is a plate of assorted biscuits and a quiz and word search to dabble with while you wait for everyone to arrive. You have to pay for the community bus that picks you up and takes you home, the drivers are lovely and very helpful.I have lots of fun and have made lots of friends and had many a good laugh.

Great centre for meeting up , excellent professional staff offering compassion , comfort and help for a cross section of the ageing community
