Went to drop baby equipment off twice and they were closed even though website said they were open. Phoned today to see if the were open and was told not accepting donations as issues with storage are the helping people or not !!!!

The charity seem to be doing amazing work around the city. I sometimes attend the Northwood group with my baby, unfortunately there seems to be an ā€˜in group’ and everyone else gets ignored. I’m never offered a drink and if there is a make your own drinks process I’m never made aware. Baby and I wait for singing time which doesn’t always happen and today the ā€˜in group’ had their own bubbles time at the end in a circle, which is sad cos all kids like bubbles.

Personally I initially had quite a bit of help. Throughout the first lockdown I was on maternity pay so didn’t need extra help in regards to food. Since then, I’ve not been contacted to see how I’ve been doing and if I need any help. It’s like because I’ve had personal fallouts with family members who work for the charity that they now won’t help me because I’m ā€œnot on the good sideā€ of the staff. I find that the charity struggle not to show favouritism between all people who need their support. I would not recommend anyone to the charity because of my more recent experience.

Edit** since writing my 2* review I have been contacted by a manager at the charity and have an appointment to review my situation so this has given me some optimism about the charity now.
