Small and beautiful church set in lovely grounds. I believe it was built in the 15th century. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Didn't go inside, not really my thing. Anyone whose interest in churches would not be disappointed is worth a visit.

Quaint, quiet, secluded and beautiful. You need to be careful of not wandering into the Babworth private estate as fences are not obvious.

An absolutely historic church that once was the home church of my 12th Great Grandfather William Brewster, who was the pillar of strength for the Pilgrim Father's who traveled to America in 1620 on that sweet ship the Mayflower

Beautiful all year around place to visit if you love your walking. Keep your eye on a spring flowers, which starts from the snowdrops from January.
I doing it in two different ways - shorter one : Retford from Babworth Road app to Babworth and back ( about an hour ) or longer option - by the canal then turn left to Babworth village and back to Retford- this can take up to two hours.

Its a nice quiet church, what can be added, i go to gravestones of relatives etc and often supply "new" watering cans for visitors as most have cracks and holes! The orange one was mine ?

Beautiful, peaceful place. We are hoping to do a history walk with a few friends. I am wondering how do we need to seek permission?
