Sadly been there for a funeral.
It's beautiful to see how a modern Anglican church has been built into the ruins.
The last time I came here was 60 years ago for a christening.

It's a beautiful place with lots of history.
Well worth a visit.

All Saints Church

All Saints Church presents a delightful walk amidst enchanting ancient ruins. Located a mere stone's throw from the medieval Pontefract Castle, it offers numerous photographic opportunities to seize a fragment of antiquity.

The church comprises two edifices: an outer church built in the 14th and 15th centuries, later devastated during the English Civil War, and a smaller, preserved inner church.

Beautiful exterior and grounds (as we did not go in). It was really nice to have a walk around and see the new built into the old, quite interesting.

Bit odd as its a modern church built inside an older ruin. It was locked up when we visited which was in the middle of the day on a saturday.
Worth a quick look around, it has some old graves dating back to the 1700s
