One of the best air museums outside the US. Tons of exhibits to see. Great to see the collaboration and military relationships between the US and UK. Well worth the price of admission if you are a military history or aerial history enthusiast. You won't regret popping in.

The imperial air museum is an amazing place to visit. It includes an American air museum that is incredible. Housing a B17 and B52 plus blackbird and phantom to name only a few. A must visit with many more hangers full of epic aeroplanes from the past. Also you can board lots of aircraft including Concord. A day out to remember for everyone. Lots of air display days. These photos were of the Battle of Britain event. Fantastic.

It was like walking into a child's bedroom and seeing the airfix models hanging from the ceiling. But these were the real thing. Amazing huge aircraft beautifully displayed.
The B52 bomber was colossal and of course the star of the show the Blackbird. Wow.
The presentation was first class. Can't fault it.

If you're in the UK and interested in aviation, this is a must visit place.
Excellent museum with aircraft from WW1, WWII, cold war and modern era. The American museum at Duxford is well laid out and volunteers make your visit easy. The SR71 and B52 are awe inspiring but the F15, P51 and P47 hanging from the ceiling are just awesome.
Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic place to visit - the whole family will enjoy it.
I particularly enjoyed the American museum as there are so many personal stories of people involved in the war efforts - what it was like, what they did, how people pulled together.

We need to be aware of our history, celebrate it, and learn from the bad parts - this was a great way to show the kids all of that.

We also loved all the volunteers who were so helpful, full of interesting information, and particularly the man who drove up and down picking up anyone who needed a ride on a hot day!

Amazing aeroplanes in a huge hanger. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Small cafe near the viewing gallery upstairs. There are some very special planes here.
There is also a very sobering exhibit. A piece of twisted steel from the World Trade Centre. We must never forget.
