With the grass and no space for the animals to exercise, is down to the owners. Animals do need to have freedom to exercise. If not this can cause problems down the line with stress and kennel/cage anxiety. It is to do with keeping things clean. Plus you can get artificial grass for dogs now. Also don't you let dogs have a run in the fields in littlebrough. Because there are videos of this. You and Mel are very big liers, which you will say anything to make the problems on other people. Instead of yourselfs. Are you mad in the head. I didn't leave till 5pm, the animals that I looked after did get better treatment from me, than , when I spoken to you over the phone, and you ignored the animals that they were depressed in their kennels. Plus where the puppies are, they were jumping up at the doors all the time. This is because the place is so small, you can't swing a cat in there, plus I have seen other dogs at the littlebrough running around on your land, not just one. Huskies and more.So you say one rule for one place and an other for the one in irlam. What about the 19 year old boy who killed himself, because of what he had to Go through at the irlam sanctuary. Plus he got called out because of short staffed. He was only a volunteer. I hope you still feel guilty for this. Plus when fona got badly scratched on her hand, she had to get a tetanus from the vets, because you stopped her from going to the hospital. To get it seen to. Now what sort of business owner who doesn't have their employers interest at heart. Well you don't. Or Mell plus all of your staff at the sanctuary in littlebrough walked out last year, because of how you treat them.

I've taken two cats from AID. The posh one Laya, is a tomboy and the good old man, Dipsy, is afraid of his own shadow. They are both adorable in their own way and I am so happy to share my home with such fun loving, amazing companions.(photo 3 is of Laya in the bread in, lol).

We cannot praise the staff who work at Irlam enough particularly Siobhan who has shown nothing but kindness and understanding to us and all the animals in her care.

Adopted a cat for my mum, very knowledgeable staff, immediately recommended the perfect cat, arranged collection a few days later and they provided a good overview of what food she likes and her history.

When we collected our new family member, the staff were taking calls about an escaped peacock; it’s clear they care and do as much as they can to help any animal in distress.

i love the animals in distress sanctuary, they really have a passion to help animals,and they are so kind and helpful. i got my special boy; shadow [or as i call him, mr shadow;to show him we all know he has masculinity-yes im mad] from the sanctuary and they kept him on reserve while my care facility gave the ok, and he is now my best friend in the world and also my support cat as i have classic autism,learning disability and epilepsy amongst other things and mr shadow will sit on me when im having a seizure or touch me softly if im having one of my moments. i feel like the sanctuary has given me a life line,mr shadow has cooled my behaviors and stopped me getting into trouble.

i also have a rabbit from the sanctuary,i dont know if she would apreciate me using her name on here so i will just call her the rabbit lady and she bonded my fiesty lion head binky with linda [now called luna],she didnt want anything for it she is a very passionate rabbit lady and i think she is an amazing woman along with the other staff.

so i recommend the sanctuary,if you are wanting to rehome an animal or offer yourself for voluntary work,they also appreciate help with food to, my dad has dropped off huge loads of unused unopened cat food before as his own cat is a fusspot.

If I have chance here to give minus 100 I would like to give that rating, awful service and no responsibility in staff. Rang yesterday about Hedgehog (which is ill) me and my girlfriend found in our garden, and staff response is "we don't have enough staff to come down and pick it up hedgehog, so we can't help you ". Rang other couple of animal help services and no one really helped. Since we both don't drive, can't take it to any PET. With one animal service guidence we bring the hedgehog inside home and placed in box with some food and water, covered with towel. Unfortunately poor hedgehog overnight died. None of these animals services really don't help anything, waste of government funds on these fake services. SHOCKING .

A friend had to give up her cat. Travelled up to field of dreams farm and were greeted by lamas, geese, ducks, peacocks, and a vast array of other animals.
As we looked around, to the left they had a huge pond, to the right, hills going into the distance with horses running around.
As we walked through the driveway, we could see into units, filled with baby birds being fed, sounds of animals in the background..
They had dogs, hedgehogs, guinea pugs, ferrets, you name it they were helping them.
We were invited into the office, apologies were given for the smell. In the corner was a large crate, with a four week old male deer. He was stunning and so healthy, we were advised he would be ready for a wildlife initiative in a week or so.

We were dealt with so professionally, with care and compassion.
Christina and Mel, they were amazing. Tears were shed from our situation, professionally yet with a very human touch.

This place needs to be recognised, and awarded with the respect they deserve.
You could see, they need a cash boost, they work minimum wage so they can save money for vet bills etc, and to keep the animals in the best health possible.
It's a real travesty, it must be recognised.

I will volunteer in the future and offer my skills to whatever you think is best placed.
