I initially attended this course as Dan asked me if I would give him feedback. I have known Dan for many years and met him via work where we were both application consultants, so I was more than happy to help.

I did not expect to learn so much and enjoy the course as much as I did as I did not think I fell in to the category of being anxious.

Firstly and most importantly to me, is that I never knew that Dan struggled with anxiety - he just put up a brick wall and pretended he was OK. That is not OK and there must be so many others in his shoes and we need to encourage, support and help individuals more and try to understand what they are going through.

Secondly - EVERYBODY has anxiety - it just depends at which end of the scale you sit. I did not consider myself at all anxious but I related to a lot of what Dan was saying and kept thinking - "I do that", "I think that" and I found learning about ACT really useful.

I think what made this course so beneficial, interesting and credible, is that Dan has experienced what he talks about. Yes - he has gone to University and has the relevant qualifications but to me - for him to overcome his feelings of anxiety with the methods he tells you about and to stand in front of a room full of people and deliver a 2 hour course which is both interesting and interactive, is a true accolade to Dan. It re-enforces the fact that he knows what he is talking about and understands what people are going through. Nobody can understand what it is like to suffer with anxiety (myself included), if they have not experienced it themselves.

I cannot recommend this course and Dan enough. Go and listen to how Dan controls his anxiety and the methods he uses - I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I have immense respect and admiration for him and wish him every success in the future.

A brilliant course, but also a brilliant achievement for you Dan. Super well done. Loved it.

I first went along to one of Dan’s meetings ’Anxious to Zen’ as support for my friend. I am lucky that I do not struggle with my mental health or anxiety but am glad that I went along. I have now attended 3 of his classes and always leave feeling empowered.

Dan speaks openly and honestly about his own personal journey and experiences with anxiety and how he manages it.
It’s given me a great insight into how to better deal with situations that can sometimes become overwhelming. With using the skills he teaches, it's made me realise that I overthink situations and I allow my thoughts to turn into emotions.

I’m a mum of 3 and have my own business, so my life is very busy. Dan introduced me to 'mindfulness meditation'. It’s something I never thought I would be able to switch off long enough to participate. I now use it several times a week, mostly when I cannot sleep at night. It's a small but positive change that has made such a difference.

I highly recommend attending his courses. Dan is a great teacher and you will benefit greatly from the skills he teaches.

Thank you Dan

I recently attended an introduction to ACT programme by Dan. The concepts were new to me, but have certainly left me wanting to learn more. Dan's teaching was thorough (having used the concepts himself) and was meticulous in delivering them. His delivery was relaxed and at the right speed.

On completion, he kindly provided a short PDF (a summary of the course) to remind what to do to stay calm going forward.

Highly recommended. Thanks Dan.
