Im baffled what they actually do. They make a big website claiming to help veterans, like myself.
It is virtually impossible to speak to or contact anyone there. Ive sent numerous emails, filled im online forms numerous times and lost count if the times ive rang over and over with 0 response.
Quite frankly probably the worst service ive ever had to deal with.
I suffer from severe social anxiety so avoid leaving my property unless absolutely necessary.
Ive as good as begged for help and at least a phone call daily not once have i ever got through to anyone
I think if this service needs to be looked at because its letting so many desperate veterans down who are most certainly on the verge if giving up.
Shocking pointless and badly adverised service.

Lovely people. Nice place to hang out have a brew and to eat and talk. Good community spirit. Organised outings and walks if your fit, and other activities like model building etc. Like I said good team spirt.

An incredible group of outstanding , resolute and hard working people with the pure and noble essence of Charitable giving at the heart of each day and each person.
All are humble, hard working and totally focused on giving new opportunites to all who have served with honour yet facing lifes unforgiving daily challenges .
A priviledge to have rubbed shoulders with everyone involved and shared the platform they built and continue to build in order to raise vital funds needed to face and overcome the mountain that never ceases to thow up surprises .

This is a really impressive facility for the support of Veterans in Wigan. Managed by a dedicated and supportive team they provide a focal point for veteran issues for Wigan. They have meeting spaces, comfortable interview rooms and even a Mental Health nurse. If you are a veteran living in the area, it is worth visiting at some stage to know what services are on offer.

Very welcoming Friday morning breakfast club. Come along from 1030 and meet & mix with other veterans. Always something going on here. Also, for those that might need it, there is professional help available.

I'm a volunteer at the Armed Forces HQ/Wigan Council. Helping to deliver food parcels and medication to the elderly and vunerble. All the staff her are all lovely and very friendly. Very satisfying work 😁😁
