The customers are rude and abusive to the staff trying to make a living, so don't be shocked when they treat you how you treat them

'The shelves are empty' maybe because the stock is sold out... arrive at 6am, not 10pm then you might get what you cry for

'The store and shelves are messy' yet the customers are the ones throwing things all over the place

Too the people saying 'never shopping here again' .. good! Nobody cares

The staff have to work for their money, unlike some customers

Poor staff attitude! No self scan checkouts open, then when I eventually reached a till flagged up a random check, along with 3 others at the same time. Only one scanner available to staff so had to wait & wait...when my turn eventually arrived the male staff member ignored me completely, no apology for keeping me waiting, just walked off. Saw another male staff snap at a customer at Christmas... Staff need retraining!

We had our shopping delivered by Val who should consider a career change as by the way she hammered on our door while we made our way from the room next door would make a great bailiff, or perhaps the police could make use of her skills when they need to gain entry.

Shop floor full of staff putting out stock. As a customer, we were definitely in the way. Yes they have to stock shelves but this could be done at quieter times.
Why bother with self scanners when the checkout section for this is closed off. Poor experience.

I called into Asda one evening to do a substantial shop,. With a full trolly, I headed to the checkouts to find there were no tills open and only the self scan option. I asked if there was the possibly of the till being opened as I had so much shopping. I was told to use the self scan.
After a very long day of work, dog walking, feeding a household and running kids around to football training… I really did not feel like becoming an unpaid Asda employee. I would have been so grateful for the human interaction and customer service.
I was late to collect my son as it took a while to unload, scan… wait for assistance when it had a fit, can repack.
I really appreciate good customer service and seeing a friendly face. I understand that self scan options are great and much quicker than queuing at a till with a few items. I feel that choice is importantly here, to offer customers the choice of a convenient quick scan checkout, or a manned option with a human element. The person at the till may be the only person someone sees all week.
Disappointed and disheartened in the swap humans for machines approach. Back to Tesco it is.

What is the management of asda thinking, the store is so understaffed.
Self service is a joke when there is no one to authorise the sale of alcohol or other restricted items.
If you aren't going to support the few staff you have then I would suggest you stop selling alcohol etc so the customer can at least have a hope of completing there purchases. At the self service check outs.

Shop was full of workers stacking shelves. Could barely walk down the isles let alone find what I was looking for. Completely unusable, left after the 3rd isle, and went to Tesco. Will not be going again!

I've rarely seen such a dirty, run-down place. The staff also had a zero-pleasure attitude
