I’d like to say a special thank you to Steve the security guy working the morning of the 3rd of February 2025. I rang the store in advance and the only person answering was for lost property. I got through to Steve and he very kindly put products back that I wanted making my trip worthwhile. He went above & beyond. A very good staff member.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Rita was extremely rude and unhelpful. We had accidentally left something in the store and went back with the receipt to find it. The staff lied to us and did not have any intention of helping us and refused to check cctv, her words were “many things in life are unfair”. This level of customer service is truly awful! That’s money we have now lost and a birthday present we now do not have !!!

I can’t stress enough how awful the customer service is in this shop. Rita mate if you read this at staff meetings, please get retrained. You need to apologise when delivering bad news my love and not reply to me with arrogance and rudeness when I was quite nice. I came in to get something I left behind which I paid for, pretty sure Security team couldn’t be bothered and to avoid hassle told me nothing was left behind. I know full well the item was still in the shop, on the till where I forgot it. Don’t bother asking staff for help cause you won’t get it. “‘Many things in life are unfair” is the motto that Rita goes by.

I love to shop from Asda. However, I do not think it is fair to close, not letting anyone in at 18:55 when it says online that you'll clos3 at 19:00.
This is quite misleading and annoying for someone who just finished a shift and rushed to shop before 19:00

Great pub, grub, drinks, staff & atmosphere.
We would have stayed for dessert, but food a tad slow coming out, as it was busy/popular, & 1 of us had an appointment.

We visited the cafe , we were told there was no fryer so we couldn't have burgers or chips . The size of the cups for tea were small .We ordered a ham and cheese panini, it took ages to come and was overcooked to the point the cheese has dissolved and the ham was dry .
A notice about the food should have been displayed to save disappointment.The lack of fryer has been going on for months !!
