If I could give zero stars, I would. Aster Group has completely failed in their duty to maintain safe and habitable living conditions. They are fully aware of serious pest control issues, yet refuse to take action, despite clear evidence of rats and ongoing complaints.

To make matters worse, they continue to overcharge tenants for estate cleaning—even when the rubbish is dumped by a known individual! Instead of holding the culprit accountable, they unfairly pass the cost onto innocent residents. Their handling of complaints is slow, dismissive, and unhelpful, making it feel like they actively avoid taking responsibility.

I have a 2-year-old child living here, and Aster’s neglect is putting my family’s health at risk. Their lack of action on long-standing tenant issues is disgraceful. Avoid renting from Aster at all costs unless you want to pay for other people’s mess and live in unhealthy conditions.

I feel like crying my roof is leaking badly and all my ceilings are so damp the insulation is all wet and they don’t do anything my son is disabled too and is a asthma sufferer on medication they have done little jobs but the whole roof is leaking when it rains (most days ) o think I have asthma now aswell 🥹🥹

Literally better off with any other housing Association . Aster way of solving the problem is by saying “we will pass it down to concerned person “ end call or please contact at some email for support and no response
A single tap repair took month. Also they also run unscheduled maintenance so be prepared for any kind of downtime or delay

From the first phone call, from Alex, informing me that my bid had been successful, I knew that I was in safe hands. I was homeless and desperate. Alex was so very kind, reassuring and professional. She always gave me as much time as I needed and never rushed a conversation. She explained everything in detail, and didn't get cross when I interrupted her/talked over her. I felt that I had someone who was going to help me through the worst time of my life - and she did. I am no longer homeless - thank you Alex - and have a wonderful new home. After living in the private sector for 25 years - Aster Group is a Godsend.

This is the worst landlord I have ever had.
Don't care about tenants. They put the rent up even if there are issues with properties.
2 stars is being polite and that's for the lovely staff that answer the phone, not the housing officer who always seems to want to be elsewhere!

Generally not a bad service and always willing to help but the women i just spoke to (out of hours emergancy) last night said someone would be out tomorrow morning to fix the bolier.....nobody came out! The women i just spoke to the next afternoon didnt care that ive a really asthmatic toddler and no heating or hot water! She didnt say anything other then someone will come out if not tonight then tomorrow. 48 hours that would be without heating or hot water with two toddlers! Normally if you have children with medical issues you are an emergancy!

Had a wetroom put in made a good job after 2 days as of being told that I would have a plumber, first day came and repaired shower never tried to see if it worked went for shower no still pouring with water, rung again yesterday told that I was an emergency had email to say josh was on his way but no one turned up, so ringing again this morning if not I will contact the necessary person as my family have no other way of showering only a wash.
