I had the pleasure of dining at Ateesh, a fantastic Turkish-style restaurant, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The presentation of the food was absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

I went for lunch, and while it wasn’t too busy at the time, there were still a few tables occupied, which created a nice atmosphere. I can imagine it gets much busier in the evening, so I’d recommend booking in advance to be safe!

The £20 for 4 courses seemed almost too good to be true when family and friends first recommended the place, but it did not disappoint. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the chicken wrap starter was my absolute favorite. The chicken was tender and paired perfectly with the vibrant pink and yellow sauces (not sure what they were, but wow!)—it was a taste sensation I won’t forget.

Ateesh is a gem of a restaurant, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy amazing food, great service, and excellent value. I’ll definitely be returning!

Had an amazing experience at Ateesh Restaurant in Newcastle. The service was top-notch, the prices were very reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is immaculate – very modern and finished to a high standard.

As someone with a severe egg allergy, I was extremely impressed by how seriously they took my dietary needs. They assured me that none of the food I ordered contained eggs and even provided a full allergen guide without hesitation. It’s rare to find a restaurant nowadays that handles allergies with such care and professionalism. A huge thank you to the team – I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely, lovely place in Newcastle. We stopped by on our way to the Scottish Highlands. The lunch was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. Also, try the Barberry Mojito. It was a hit. We did not have a reservation, but after waiting a few minutes, they made a table available to us. We loved this place.

Lovely lunch at Ateesh Ponteland from their lunchtime menu at £20 for 4 course with lovely choices. Was quiet being a Tuesday afternoon. Service was excellent, and the food was absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend 👌

This restaurant is just what was needed in the north east, serving delicious persian food in a modern, clean, bright atmosphere! The food served is not in very big portions like you get in other persian restaurants but it fits the more fine dining atmosphere and vibe that the restaurant seems to be going for. The staff were friendly. The bar looked great. There was a variety of food and drinks on offer. We will definitely visit again

The kebab was okay but had a strange marinade that really overpowered the meat - not very authentic. Service was not the best - the staff don’t seem to know the menu well enough to understand food orders without explanation.

The restaurant is decorated nicely, but parking is limited. There is *much* better Iranian food in the North East for a lot less money.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Very instagramable📸. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu. It is a bit pricey but it was definitely worth it.

Absolutely beautiful food. Gorgeous decor. Great friendly staff. Food was absolutely amazing. Definitely be back. Amaretto sours was so nice too! Chicken and lamb kebabs were out of this world.
