I visited a friend today and may I say I was annoyed at the way residents were cared for no one came in the dining area where we were to see how 3 residents were I checked on them not 1 member of staff came in to check on them whilst I was there for 1 hour. A carer shouted at Kathleen for eating a apple which she had got out of a fruit bowl on the sink unit plus a knife out of a drawer.I kept an eye on her the whole time to be confronted by a large lady carer the same one that shouted st Kathleen saying she can't eat that at which I replied so why has she got access to it then Absolutely appalling the way it was dealt with . I shall be taking this further because I didn't see any care or effort today .

Staff are breakinggovernment guidelines during this period of isolation.and still management allow cleaning staff to ignore the government's guidelines regarding social isolation. What kind of responsibility is this ,they could be taking any germs into the care home I cant visit my mother but staff can mix with family.this is not right.
