A wonderful Open Day, friendly and accommodating staff, and organised really well despite the large crowds. Thank you for your hospitality and to Cricket for the ride!

I cannot fault how brilliant, supportive and enthusiastic everyone is at the Avon Centre. The horses and ponies are wonderfully looked after and are so patient for new riders but suit all levels of rider.

I registered with this riding centre four months ago and have not heard back from them since. Despite repeatedly trying to book an assessment, all I am told is to keep an eye on the website, which is confusing and unhelpful.Initially, I was pre-assessed as a beginner, even though I mentioned that I have over 20 years of riding experience and have owned horses before. Eventually, my pre-assessment was updated to advanced, but it has made no difference.I understand there are staffing shortages, but instead of accepting new applications and making people wait for months, it would be better to pause new enquiries until they can actually accommodate them. All I wanted was a simple trail hack; it shouldn't be this complicated.

My daughter took about 10 lessons here and the quality and input was variable. You feel a bit like a cash cow at times as she wanted to improve not just sit on a horse being led around.

A friendly centre with some great facilities for hire. We paid to use the hacking track, and enjoyed a nice walk, trot and canter through the woods.

Avon Riding Centre is fantastic, the coaches really take into consideration each individual's needs and pairs them with a suitable horse, they also clearly look after the horses which is a top priority for myself

Edit: I've been riding now for 6 months with this centre and they've been amazing, no problems and I'm really excited to ride each week with them.
Edit 2: So I became unwell and couldn't ride for some months, the whole team were super understanding and now have me back on the mechanical horse to bring me back up to fitness before full riding again. I really couldn't ask for a better set of people to ride with.
