When in Plymouth we always visit the Bbar at the theatre complex for Thai food, cooked as you wait....simply excellent. Good people serving and cooking their great dishes. Lovely atmosphere. Great place to visit and convenient for the National Aquatium just accross the harbour.

Barbican Theatre is a great theatre for the actual show. All seats are great, and the curtain wall is epic. That being said, it’s so confusing to navigate the Barbican in general, and there are not many solid food options nearby. Always arrive early if you’ve never been here because signage is so-so, and you WILL get lost navigating the expanse of the Barbican.

I never knew this was here!
At first, I thought the sound of a Thai restaurant being (seemingly) connected to a theatre could be very hit or miss, but I was pleasantly surprised with how good this place was after I visited with a few friends!

B Bar is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants that I've been to, and I've been to quite a few!
The food was excellent, my panang curry was very tasty & had the perfect level of spice to it
The spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant & really reminded me of my mother's home made ones!
The staff were also lovely which is always a bonus!

All in all, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
