Visited the art exhibition. Really nice and an excellent cup of tea and cake for£3.00. charity fundraiser for the Samaritans. Only downside was the heating was too high and it felt like I was in an old folks home.

We went to see a Simon and Garfunkel music duo, and not only were they great, but the venue was too. Friendly people who run it and manage the bar , first time there, we'd definitely go again. ?

Didn't actually go there but its next to the handiest pit stop which has a friendly cleaner who I chat to when I'm about to to for a hike im the Peak District and after 60 miles drive it's a perfect spot....I'm hoping to move to the Peaks this year so I won't be as desperate!!!!!

I am lucky enough to run a monthly event at Baslow Village Hall and I couldn’t wish for better support to promote my session's, from the team that run the hall.
From the very beginning it was super easy to make contact, and I actually got to speak to a human ?.
The booking system is easy to use and the hall works with you to get the best hire packages.
The venue is in a beautiful location with plenty of free parking with additional payment parking very close by.
The hall is on one level with easy access and it is warm, clean and welcoming.

I would highly recommend Baslow Village Hall for your event hire needs and as a community venue, there is so much happening there it’s a perfect place to join a group, workshop or event and make a day of your visit with plenty of places for food and relaxation.

A great village hall with the perfect set up to have functions and groups, with a well stocked kitchen, separate dining/meeting room, and a good sized hall with a good sized stage for performances. I held my daughter's 13th karaoke disco here, and loved the attention to detail and presentation of the hall, with excellent communication from Angela who manages the bookings. Allocated parking too. A real hit with all that attended. A highly recommended venue we will certainly be using again.

Baslow Village Hall is a very friendly and lovely location! I hold a lot of my children’s art workshops here in the main hall, its newly decorated hall has been modernised and is very spacious for holding all kinds of events! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to hire a space locally!

The hall is next to Bus stops, public toilets, a car park, and Sweet Gene's. Rest, get a pastie, hot drink, and cake after a walk or run. Closes 4:00 p.m. ish
